worked well first five times, then dead batterySeptember 9, 2010 ghost dog this is a fantastic trimmer with horrendous battery technology. at $66 a battery, almost half the cost of the trimmer, this is a no-buy. after about five trimming sessions, my battery stopped holding a charge. after reading reviews on the replacement battery, it became clear that this is common and attempting to replace the battery and hoping for better performance is throwing good money after bad. using my old dependable troy-bilt gas trimmer again now.
good qualitySeptember 8, 2010 Dr. Michael J. Prendergast Battery life is much improved over previous models; you won't have any problem getting the job done on one charge with any typical sized yard. The trimmer is light, easy to use, & has good safety features.
greatly impressedSeptember 8, 2010 mrscampi so far its everything they have said it was and what it would do. Really like the light weight since we are matured (ha-ha)
The product is nice but.....September 5, 2010 chelada00 The Worx is great if you are doing a small yard. But the problem is if you are using it for over 30 minutes make sure you either have a backup battery ready or that you have something else you can do while the battery charges as the charge does not last very long. I say around 30-45 minutes max.
Bad BatterySeptember 4, 2010 Christopher A. Soltis(Pottstown, PA) I ordered this trimmer in May. I have used it maybe 5 times this year and now the battery dies after about 3 minutes use. The trimmer itself is good - the battery issue is TERRIBLE. Something needs to be done about this and I do expect to get a new FREE battery!
